Adopteen Midpoint Retreat

Celebration. Inspiration. Pride.

Adopteen Midpoint Retreat brings our national adoptee community together for a quick three days of in-person fellowship and connection, with activities entirely planned and coordinated by adoptees, for adoptees (of course). Different from our Adopteen Camp-Conferences, Midpoint Retreat is a weekend getaway event that gives campers a bit of a brain break while still keeping the same unique workshops and wild games you know Adopteen stays dedicated to. A lowkey, easy event perfect for first-time campers and long-time friends, we hope you join us!

Midpoint Retreat is a joyful, jam-packed weekend that allow adoptees from all walks of life to spend time learning from each other, caring for each other, and celebrating each other the best way we know how.

Adopteen Midpoint Retreat FAQs

We are excited to be able to hold Adopteen Midpoint Retreat at family vacation homes that have been generously donated for our event! 10 minutes away from the beautiful beaches of Melbourne, FL, campers will be able to enjoy a quiet and re-energizing weekend beach getaway while relaxing in the comfort of a beautiful house and spacious beds.

Different from our Midpoint Retreats in the past, we are excited for all the possibilities that this new setup opens up! Game room, backyard campfires, heated pool, and enough food to feed a small army (we promise!), we are SO excited and grateful to have such amazing host accommodations for Midpoint Retreat 2022!

As we have moved from bunk cabins to a generously donated family vacation home, sleeping arrangements will be adjusted to shared beds. All beds are king-sized beds, with plenty of sleeping space for everyone.

  • Two campers per bed
  • Girls and boys will be sleeping in opposite wings of the house
  • Leaders will be sleeping in the living room

We know it sounds a bit funny, but this is a very large home and we are grateful to be able to make all of our slumber party vibes come true!

We understand that these adjusted sleeping arrangements may be an uncomfortable change for some campers. If you do not want to share a bed or feel uncomfortable with these new changes, please contact us at adopteen@ccaifamily.org.
