Internship Opportunities

The Park offers year-round internship opportunities. We love working with passionate students and professionals to continue exploring all that this community can achieve.

The Park Programs Intern (Unpaid)

Commitment: 20-25 hours/week 
Time Frame: Flexible, 10-12 weeks (May-August)
Compensation: Unpaid – Accommodations and flight costs covered for In-Person interns; academic credit facilitation available upon request
Location: In-person or remote options

The Park Programs Interns will work collaboratively across a shared pool of projects spanning research, design, and strategy that directly shape The Park’s programming, partnerships, and reach. This is a project-anchored, learning-focused role where you’ll contribute real work across multiple program areas. Ideal for a student or emerging professional with genuine interest in adoptee advocacy, cultural programming, or nonprofit work.

Adoptee Programs Intern (Paid)

Commitment: 30-40 hours/week (full time summer)
Time Frame: Summer Season
Compensation: $18-$20/hour
Location: On-site (with potential for remote flexibility)

The Adoptee Programs Intern will support the Adoptee Programs Coordinator in the design, facilitation, and evaluation of programs serving adoptees of all ages. This is a project-anchored, learning-focused role ideal for a student or emerging professional with interest in nonprofit program coordination, adoptee advocacy, or community-centered work.

Heritage Tour Coordinator

Commitment: Full- time

Research Intern

Heritage Tour Coordinator

Commitment:  Full-Time
Compensation: $40,000 -$43,000 commensurate with experience
Location: Centennial, CO

The Park is seeking a detail-oriented, traveler-focused Heritage Tour Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and execution of our Heritage Tours program. Working alongside the Heritage Tour Manager, the part-time Heritage Tour Specialist, and our in-China coordinator, this role supports every phase of the tour lifecycle — from registration and pre-trip preparation through on-tour communication and post-trip follow-up.

Digital Engagement Coordinator

Commitment: Part-Time (20-32 hrs/wk) 
Pay Rate: Starting at $22 -$25/hr (dependent on experience)
Location: Centennial, CO (On-Site preferred)

The Digital Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing a dynamic digital content strategy to promote CCAI and The Park’s mission and programs. This role involves conceptualizing diverse and engaging content across various digital platforms and coordinating with volunteers to bring these creative ideas to life. The ideal candidate is a strategic, creative thinker with excellent project management skills, a knack for storytelling, and a passion for building community.

Adopteen Assistant Camp Director

Commitment:  Contract Position (March – July 2025)
Compensation: $1,500
Location: Centennial, CO

Join our team as the Adopteen Assistant Camp Director for the 2025 season. This contract position requires prior Adopteen experience and involves supporting the overall management of camp by assisting with camp staff training, day-to-day operations, supervising volunteers, managing the camp schedule, and helping with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to leadership and be able to effectively collaborate with the Camp Director to ensure the success of the camp.

Administrative Assistant

The Park is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position ensures smooth operation of our office and events by providing comprehensive administrative support. The Administrative Assistant is the heart of our team and the warm, professional, first touch for all customers. Working closely with all programming staff, this person provides all internal and external customers with quality and timely support in a professional and friendly working environment. 

Development Coordinator

Commitment: Part-Time (20-25 hrs/wk) or Contract 
Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hr 
Location: Centennial, CO (On-Site/Remote possible)

The Park is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to lead and execute our efforts in maintaining strong, positive relationships with our past participants, adoptees, adoptive families, and donors. This role is pivotal in creating meaningful engagement opportunities and recognition initiatives that will cultivate loyalty and encourage continued support for our community programs.

Commitment:  Full Time
Pay Rate: Starting at $42,000
Location: Centennial, CO (On-Site/Hybrid/Remote options available)

The Park is seeking a charismatic and dynamic Adoptee Programs Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of all adoptee support programming and curriculum at The Park. This role ensures that all events stay relevant to the community’s needs and are run smoothly.  This individual should be highly motivated, with excellent organization and time management skills,  have a personal connection to adoption and a deep passion for adoption community support.
