Join us for a high-energy, 5-day Chinese Lion Dance Camp—a thrilling exploration of traditional martial arts puppetry! The art of lion dancing is easy to fall in love with and takes a lifetime to master. Throughout the week, campers will build essential movement, coordination, and performance skills while diving into the physical and cultural foundations of this vibrant art form.
Campers will be grouped by experience level to ensure safe and engaging instruction for all. In addition to lion dance choreography, the camp includes focused training in:
Acrobatics Training
– Develop martial arts jumps, kicks, and twists (beginner to advanced levels)
Dynamic Stretching
– Enhance flexibility, splits, and movement range for more powerful performance
Tumbling Skills
– Learn rolls, handstands, hops, cartwheels, and aerials in a supportive environment
All elements are integrated into the lion dance curriculum, helping each camper grow as a performer and teammate.
