Here we are once more, hopping into a new year! Joyous Chinese Cultural School is excited to host our 23rd Annual Chinese New Year Celebration! This favorite celebration is our once-a-year chance to raise the well-spent funds that help make our vital and unique cultural connection opportunities possible for the adoption community and beyond! Join us in person at our big celebration and help support the hard work of our students and teachers!
Ring in the Year of the Rabbit with a bit of magic and a whole lot of joyful celebration. New this year, we will have a pre-show dinner and tea ceremony, balloon artists, and face painters. For the main event, get ready for performances from our incredible JCCS students, special musical performances, and a magic show! With a special New Year’s Message from CCAI co-Founders Joshua Zhong and Lily Nie, this year’s JCCS Chinese New Year Celebration, like every year, is not to be missed.
We will unfortunately be unable to host this year’s event online due to venue constraints. Full recordings of the Celebration will be available after the show for our friends near and far!

Our JCCS Chinese New Year Celebration is our one and only fundraising event every year for our beloved school. Joyous Chinese Cultural School is a non-profit organization that depends on the funds raised from the community that values it the most to cover the school’s annual funding gap.

Not only does your donation help ensure that our classes and events remain affordable and sustainable for our community and provide sliding scale pricing for those who would otherwise be unable to access these experiences, but your gifts may also allow us to update and renovate our classrooms and resources for our students and teachers!

A Joyous Celebration
The 23rd Annual Chinese New Year Celebration will be held at Waterstone Community Church and we hope to see you there!
Arrive early to take advantage of exciting pre-show activities, including a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, face painters, balloon twisters, Chinese New Year gift items and collectables, and more!
With performances by our incredible students, guest performances with record-breaking acrobat, Lina Liu, a debut performance from our JCCS Lion Dance Club, and Joshua and Lily’s annual address, this will be the most fun you’ve had in two years!
5:30 PM — Pre-Show Reception (Dinner, Tea Ceremony, Artists, Activities)
6:30 PM — Doors Open to Auditorium
7:15 PM — The Celebration Begins!
Tickets: $18/person
+Add Dinner ($15.00) (Optional): *Must be pre-ordered by 4PM Wednesday, January 18th*
Add a dinner to your ticket for an additional $15/person and enjoy with fellow JCCS families and friends during the pre-show festivities!
