DESCRIPTION:@ United Martial Arts Center\nCentennial\, CO\nJuly 20 – July 24\, 2026\n9:00AM – 1:00PM\nAges 11-18 \n\nJoin us for a high-energy\, 5-day Chinese Lion Dance Camp—a thrilling exploration of traditional martial arts puppetry! The art of lion dancing is easy to fall in love with and takes a lifetime to master. Throughout the week\, campers will build essential movement\, coordination\, and performance skills while diving into the physical and cultural foundations of this vibrant art form. \nCampers will be grouped by experience level to ensure safe and engaging instruction for all. In addition to lion dance choreography\, the camp includes focused training in: \nAcrobatics Training– Develop martial arts jumps\, kicks\, and twists (beginner to advanced levels) \nDynamic Stretching– Enhance flexibility\, splits\, and movement range for more powerful performance \nTumbling Skills– Learn rolls\, handstands\, hops\, cartwheels\, and aerials in a supportive environment \nAll elements are integrated into the lion dance curriculum\, helping each camper grow as a performer and teammate! \nPlease note: Lunch is not included.
